The concert “Christmas Inspirations” will take place on 3 December at “Teatro Art” in Sofia, the organisers from Art Music Centre announce.
The performers include the virtuoso pianist Georgi Cherkin, tenors Mario Nikolov and Andreya Mirchev, the leading sopranos of the Plovdiv Opera – Valeria Mircheva and Evgenia Ralcheva, together with the Sofia Boys’ Choir conducted by Alexander Mitev, the Vidin Symphony Orchestra, and maestro Petar Dimitrov.
“Especially for the upcoming festive season, the Vidin Symphony has prepared a holiday gala featuring renowned soloists and a programme inspired by the traditional Viennese Christmas and New Year concerts. On the eve of the Christmas and New Year holidays, the audience will have the opportunity to enjoy well-known melodies – instrumental pieces, songs from around the world, and Christmas classics that carry beauty, nostalgia, and festive magic, filling the hall with joy and uplifting spirit,” the organisers comment.
