On December 3, the festive concert “Christmas Inspirations” will take place at Teatro “ART” in Sofia. The event is organized by Art Music Centre and brings together on one stage distinguished Bulgarian musicians: pianist Georgi Cherkin, tenors Mario Nikolov and Andrea Mirchev, Plovdiv Opera sopranos Valeria Mircheva and Evgenia Ralcheva, as well as the Vidin Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Petar Dimitrov. A special guest of the evening will be the Sofia Boys’ Choir, under the direction of Alexander Mitev.
The program features classical masterpieces by Verdi, Bizet, Bach, and other great composers, alongside iconic film music beloved by audiences worldwide.
“On the occasion of the upcoming festive season, the Vidin Symphonietta has prepared a celebratory gala featuring renowned soloists and a program inspired by the traditions of Viennese Christmas and New Year’s concerts. On the eve of the Christmas and New Year holidays, audiences will have the opportunity to enjoy popular melodies—musical pieces and songs from around the world, as well as timeless Christmas classics that evoke beauty, nostalgia, and festive magic, filling listeners with warmth and joyful anticipation,” the organizers comment.
The concert promises a stirring and ceremonial evening, transporting audiences into the enchanting atmosphere of the forthcoming holidays.
