On September 17, the Day of Sofia, the Sofia Municipal Council held an official ceremony to present the “Honorary Badge of Sofia Municipality” and an accompanying diploma to the Sofia Boys’ Choir at the “Tsar Boris III – 1928” Community Centre, in celebration of the ensemble’s 50th anniversary.
The award was presented to the Choir’s conductor, Prof. Dr. Adriana Blagoeva, by the Chair of the Sofia Municipal Council, Mr. Elen Gerdzhikov, and the Mayor of Sofia, Mrs. Yordanka Fandakova, in the presence of numerous figures from the capital’s cultural and educational circles.
