With great joy and pride, we are pleased to announce that in July, two of our choristers—Alexander Vasilev and Simeon Bonin—will appear as soloists in the role of Saint Luke in the opera “The Hermit of Rila“, composed by Father Kiril Popov and staged under the direction of Plamen Kartaloff.
The production is presented by the Sofia Opera and Ballet and is held under the patronage of Vasil Terziev, Mayor of Sofia. The opera forms part of the Summer Festival “Opera in the Square”, organized by the Sofia Opera and Ballet.
The performances will take place on 11, 12, and 13 July.
