“VIVA LA MUSICA” is the motto of the gala concert celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Sofia Boys’ Choir – the first boys’ choir established in Bulgaria.
For 50 years, generations of boys have given their hearts to the art of choral music – because they love to sing and wish to share that love with their audience.
For 50 years, music has lived within this choir – constantly renewed by the youth and enthusiasm of its singers, and by the talent and dedication of its conductors.
“VIVA LA MUSICA” – and life becomes more beautiful and meaningful!
The concert is part of the Sofia Music Weeks International Festival and will take place on Thursday, June 21, at 7:00 PM, at Bulgaria Hall.
Programme includes works by: Petko Staynov, Alexander Tekelieff, Philip Pavlov, Milko Kolev, Petar Lyondev, Svetozar Roussinov, Jacques Arcadelt, Camille Saint-Saëns, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Manuel Moreno Penella, David Edelman.

The “Sofia Music Weeks” International Festival is part of the official cultural events calendar of Sofia Municipality for 2018.
The festival has been awarded the “Europe for Festivals, Festivals for Europe” (EFFE) Label by the European Festivals Association for 2017–2018.
