On 25 June, at 7:00 p.m., a concert presentation of the discography of the Sofia Boys’ Choir at the Community Cultural Centre “Tsar Boris III – 1928” will take place in the Concert Hall of the National Music Academy “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov”.
The event is included in the accompanying programme of the Sofia Music Weeks.
Between 1991 and the present day, under the artistic leadership of Adriana Blagoeva, the ensemble has recorded eleven solo compact discs featuring a wide-ranging and stylistically diverse repertoire. Each album is conceived as a thematic programme, encompassing music from the Renaissance to the present day.
The presentation of the discography of **Bulgaria’s first boys’ choir—the Sofia Boys’ Choir—**is dedicated to the choir’s 50th anniversary, celebrated in 2018, and offers a retrospective of its artistic path, achievements, and contribution to Bulgarian and international choral culture.
