The Sofia Boys’ Choir, at the Community Cultural Centre “Tsar Boris III – 1928” and conducted by Alexander Mitev, took part in the fifth edition of the International Choral Festival “Petko Staynov”, held at Bulgarian National Radio – Studio 1.
The angelic voices of the choir presented a refined programme featuring works by Petko Staynov, Filip Pavlov, Atanas Kosev, Alexander Tekeliev, Petar Lyondev, and other distinguished Bulgarian composers. In recognition of its artistic achievement, the choir was awarded a Certificate of Excellence, presented by Mr. Petko Staynov.
At the piano, the choir was accompanied by its pianists Mihail Srebrev and Elvis Vasilev, whose sensitive and professional collaboration contributed significantly to the overall artistic impact of the performance.
The Sofia Boys’ Choir extends its heartfelt admiration and sincere gratitude to the Petko Staynov Foundation for the excellent organization of this significant event, which holds an important place in the contemporary choral life of Bulgaria.
